1.    Investment income from dividends / interest      

This document will review how to navigate the IncomeXpert tool including the following topics

• Calculating dividend or interest income for your borrower using schedule B or the 1040

2.    Step by step instructions

Choose social Interest/Dividend from the drop down list for your borrower or borrowers

(NOTE if the borrower has more than one line item of income from the Schedule B, create a new interest / dividend income calculator for each source of income)

Click the income tab , choose the borrower (or borrowers)  with interest / dividend income , and click the magnifying glass to open the interest/ dividend data entry.





Enter in the required data listed by IncomeXpert. Click the save calculate button.  Choose the correct income analysis as published in the guidelines. Clear any warnings or add any comments as required.
